Egoo AI is an AI-powered chat platform that allows users to:

  • Create and customize AI characters ("Egos")
  • Engage in conversations with AI characters
  • Manage chat history and preferences
  • Upload and generate avatar images

Important: All conversations are with artificial intelligence systems, not real people.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Users under 18 must have parental/guardian consent to use the Service.

You retain ownership of content you create (messages, custom characters, uploaded images). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the Service.

5.2 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI systems is provided "as is". We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content, but you acknowledge that such content may not be unique and similar content may be generated for other users.

5.3 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, AI models, designs, and trademarks, is our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. AI Limitations and Disclaimers

You acknowledge and understand that:

  • AI responses are generated by machine learning models and may contain errors
  • AI cannot provide professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.)
  • AI responses should not be relied upon for important decisions
  • We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of AI-generated content
  • AI systems may reflect biases present in training data

8. Consumer Rights (UK)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have certain rights regarding digital services:

10. Content Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Monitor and review user content and AI interactions
  • Remove or restrict access to inappropriate content
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Report illegal content to appropriate authorities

11. Service Availability and Changes

We strive to maintain Service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the Service settings.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

13.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer with the right to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction.
